Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a 2012 First Person Shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It was released on November 12, 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and on November 18, 2012 for Wii U. North America and November 30th in PAL regions.

Black Ops II is the ninth game in the Call of Duty video game series, a sequel to the 2010 game Call of Duty: Black Ops and the first Call of Duty game for the Wii U.A to be released after the th PlayStation Vita game Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified was developed by nStigate Games and also published on November 13th.

The game’s campaign follows the story of Black Ops and is set in the late 1980s and 2025. In the 1980s, the player switches controls between Alex Mason and Frank Woods, two of the Black Ops protagonists, while 2025 takes control of the player Mason’s son David (codename “Section”). In both time periods, the characters hunt Raúl Menéndez, a Nicaraguan cartel leader responsible for the kidnapping of Woods in the 1980s and sparking a second Cold War in 2025. The campaign features non-linear gameplay and has multiple endings.
